Application Properties / Characteristics
DC87 Scratch Resistant Clear is a specially formulated, two component, acrylic urethane clearcoat used to topcoat Diamont Basecoat colors where scratch resistant clear is required to meet OEM specifications. DC87 dries to a glossy, very durable and chemically resistant finish. DC87 must be activated with either DH42 or DH46 isocyanate hardeners. Use HR5 Jet5 ONLY when using DH46 Hardener to improve dry times in air dry or baking conditions.

DH42 Hardener is recommended for spot and panel repairs (up to 5 panels) at temperatures under 30°C/85°F in air dry or baking conditions. DH46 Hardener is recommended for large repairs at temperatures over 30°C/85°F. DH47 Slow Hardener is recommended for overall repairs at temperatures above 30°C/85°F.

DF25 Diamont Flex can be added to DC87 when used over flexible substrates.
