55 Line
 Increased productivity - through technological advancement - is the key to the importance of the new 55 Line polyester basecoat system.
Enhancements in chemical design have allowed 55 Line to achieve new levels of productivity, most prominently in three areas:
• Faster drying, cutting painting time by approximately 18%.More effective hiding, providing two-coat hiding capability with superb color match.Less paint consumption, from improved coverage, hiding and sprayability.
Features including new modern pigments and improved hold-out add to the system's value, while 3.5 and 4.0 lbs/gal VOC formulations provide low-VOC options with no drop-off in performance.
Further efficiency results from the fact that 55 Line employs the same support products and equipment as Glasurit® 54 Line, providing an easy and cost-effective transition.
Overall, 55 Line gives you the opportunity for major improvements in productivity and profitability, combining increased speed with lower cost through a decrease in the amount of material required.
22 Line
 A high-solids, low-VOC acrylic urethane single-stage system, new 22 Line also provides major productivity improvements through technological advancement.
Key advantages of the 22 Line single-stage system include:
• Two-coat coverage, reducing material usage with quicker hiding than competitors.
• Faster drying, cutting painting time and improving productivity.
• Superb sprayability, with a significant improvement over previous systems.
• Less Paint Consumption, reducing material costs with two-coat coverage.
22 Line also features new modern pigments and improved hold-out, and is compliant for 3.5 and 4.0 lbs/gal VOC requirements. 22 Line uses existing 21 Line hardeners, reducers, and support products, allowing further efficiency and ease of startup.
VOC Compliance
Glasurit® offers the advantages of VOC compliance with little or no change in the way you mix or spray. Glasurit® products have been designed with VOC regulations in mind, anticipating the needs and concerns of Glasurit® customers. In addition to low VOC levels and fewer-cost coverage, Glasurit® systems offer many alternative formulas to achieve even lower VOC levels.
Glasurit® Small-Damage RepairSystem™
 Glasurit® product management is pleased to introduce a new fast and affordable process for repairing small paint scratches and defects. Such a capability was previously not available to professional collision shops. This unique Glasurit® system, called the Small-Damage Repair System™ (SDR™ System), enables the shop to realize incremental sales and provide full service to its customers at a very attractive cost.
The SDR System requires the use of the new Glasurit® 352-500 Spot Blender, along with special SATA spray guns, compounds and abrasive materials. The process allows a shop to repair small damage, scratches, etc. (up to 1 1/2 inches in size) without having to clear coat a whole panel. The repair can be done in a fast, economical manner. Equally important, the repair is covered by the Glasurit® Lifetime Warranty, a strong selling point with consumers.
Since it involves a specially designed process, the proper use of the system and its components is critical to a successful job. As a result, training is mandatory. A painter will become certified and receive the Small-Damage Repair Kit to use this system only when the training is completed. This system is designed to generate incremental business for the collision repair facility in addition to any collision or mechanical work being done. Insurance companies do not typically cover these repairs.
