ColorMasters understands Virginia's collision industry and our network of industry contacts is a valuable asset to ColorMasters and our customers. Training and Education
ColorMasters training is not something promised, it is a way of life. We have partnered with Collision Management Services to provide "real world" management training. ColorMasters helps implement fundamentals brought back from the training. Additionally, BASF offers certified training at their National Training Center located right in Maryland. BASF Product Certification and Color Matching classes are I-CAR approved and can be applied towards a shop's I-CAR Gold Class Certification.

Additionally, ColorMasters maintains a staff of highly trained Technical Service Specialists (TSS) who are responsible for all technical support in our customer's shop. Each TSS, equipped with a mobile phone and laptop computer, is on call as needed to assist our partner shops in their paint department. ColorMasters also provides color-matching assistance to our customers utilizing SmartSCAN®, an advanced color analysis scanner, capable of matching any color within minutes. This tool integrates into BASF's patented SmarTRAK®2 color formula software, the COLOR-MAX®2 paint chip system and BASF's worldwide Internet based Artic paint formula retrieval system.

ColorMasters coordinates and hosts several nationally recognized VisionPLUS® interactive workshops each year on such topics as Estimating for Profit, Customer Satisfaction, Paint Department Productivity, Competitive Pay Plans, etc. Most of these courses are accredited through the Automotive Management Institute (AMI). ColorMasters also provides supplemental workshops on financial planning, business insurance and other valuable topics.

Marketing Assistance
Our professional marketing specialist is dedicated to assisting our customers in developing and creating individualized marketing strategies for their businesses. We provide customized marketing brochures and other services and are ready to assist our customers in marketing their businesses.

Sales and marketing brochures are of little value if there is not a strategic mailing list available. ColorMasters is developing an extensive business and personal database of collision shops, auto repair shops, shop managers, body technicians, painters, insurance contacts, insurance agents, and other key industry contacts.

Shop Benchmarking
Anyone who believes "paint is paint" hasn't done their homework. ColorMasters customers enjoy paint costs that are 15% to 25% lower than non-BASF shops. Most jobbers do everything possible to increase sales to the collision shop; at ColorMasters we do just the opposite.

We make every effort to reduce the collision shop's cost of materials. Each month we collect key financial numbers and benchmark that shop with our other customers. Rather than hiding the trends, we make sure the shop owner understands where his business stands compared to other shops. By creating a standard baseline, ColorMasters can benchmark paint vs. sales ratios creating a simple method to monitor paint and material costs. Our proactive approach is essential in reducing our customers' material costs. We want our shop owners to understand their numbers.

Collision Shop Inventory Management
ColorMasters assumes responsibility over the paint department's inventory. Our field professionals maintain our customer's inventory and coordinates with the painter and body men to ensure a balanced inventory to keep up with the paint and body production schedules.

Our inventory usage and tracking reports allow us to constantly adjust inventory levels to reflect the shop's actual usage, reducing inventory costs and delivery disruptions to a minimum. Our product backup system is derived from basecoat toner popularity reports making sure the shop is at the minimum inventory. Some shop owners believe good service is based on the number of daily deliveries a jobber is willing to make. ColorMasters believes a well-managed inventory system improves productivity and causes fewer delivery disruptions in the paint department.

Because ColorMasters is focused on improving productivity, our delivery drivers, not the painters, re-stock the paint department inventory. Our product delivery system is computerized and our products are delivered promptly with a 99% fill rate.

Our invoicing system can create separate accounts for paint and associated products, eliminating timely end-of-the-month accounting procedures. Upon request, our account representatives can provide detailed month-end inventory for the shop's accounting purposes.

Environmental & Monthly VOC Reports
ColorMasters's customized invoicing system automatically generates state required VOC usage reports, based on purchases. This eliminates time-consuming compilation of month-end, quarterly and year-end reports required by the government.
